The Doodlebops are the name of a children's band. Their TV show features the group as they go through a day in the life of rock stars like them. The band is composed of three colorful siblings by the names of Deedee Doodle, Rooney Doodle and Moe Doodle.

Appearance[]

The Doodlebops each have a different skin color. They wear clothes inspired by the musical instruments that they play (Deedee on keyboard, Rooney plays guitar and Moe plays drums).

History[]

According to the YouTube exclusive Doodlebops special Behind the Makeup, Deedee learned music from chickens and started to play music from the clucks of the chicken. Moe found old jugs and started to beat on them as if they were drums (he also rolled around on the floor as opposed to breakdancing), meanwhile Rooney started to play air-guitar and Deedee decided to play her keytar to the chicken's clucks. After they started making music, they got their own clubhouse, their own concert, their own manager (Jazzmin, but in season 1, the manger was Mazz), a bus that is driven by Bus Driver Bob, and, later on in season 2, a recording studio. Their musical influences in their songs include country and hip-hop. Also, Audio Murphy used to breakdance before being the video producer.

In the season 1 episode Growing Moe, however, Rooney was smaller than his own guitar and Deedee couldn't get down from the chair near her mirror without help.

Fame[]

Since 2004, The Doodlebops sang over 80 songs (this includes the songs from Doodlebops Rockin' Road Show) and is loved by kids, teens, and even adults alike as their TV show not only features a hidden moral for younger fans, but there is also jokes, skits, and recurring themes. On YouTube, The Doodlebops and their songs can be found in English, French, and Spanish. The Doodlebops have toured America two times and they also performed at miscellaneous places in Canada (where the actors for the Doodlebops are from). They also performed in Walt Disney World during a live tour named Playhouse Disney In Concert, along with the Wiggles, the Imagination Movers, and Johnny and the Sprites, all of whom (including the Doodles themselves) performed renditions of classic Disney songs on the Disney CD Disney Music Block Party.
